What do I need to get?

Accurately predicting the number, type, and placement of acoustical treatments is as much a science as it is an art. Acoustical engineers spend years studying the complex mathematics behind this process. All that being said a few guidelines will help get you within range:

1) Small rooms (around 300 ft2)
a) Cover 20 percent of the wall surfaces with absorber panels, preferably thicker than two inches.
b) Cover 20 percent of the wall surfaces with diffuser panels, preferably thicker than four inches.
c) Spread absorber panels as evenly as possible through the room, alternating them with diffusers all the way around the walls.
d) Place bass absorber panels in corners of the room.
e) Place absorber or diffusers at first reflection points

2) Larger rooms (larger than 1000 ft2)
a) Cover 25 to 30 percent of the wall surfaces with absorber panels, preferably thicker than 2 inches.
b) Spread absorber panels as evenly as possible through the room.

3) ZSound Trio Systems
a) For rooms up to 150 ft2 use one base Quartet System
b) For rooms 151ft2 to 400 ft2 use two Quartet Systems

4) D4 Melody Systems
a) For rooms up to 300 ft2 use one base Melody System
b) For rooms 301ft2 to 600 ft2 use two Quartet Systems

5) Spring Traps
a) For rooms up to 150 ft2 use one SpringTrap
b) For rooms 150ft2 to 250ft2 use two SpringTraps
c) For room 250 to 400 ft2 use four SpringTraps
